appropriate strategies for each client
—as in life—
there are no "cookie-cutter" solutions to the range and complexity of the human experience

Experience has taught Randy that though we are all created equal, we are not created the same, and that in business—as in life—there are no "cookie-cutter" solutions to the range and complexity of the human experience. It is a depth of understanding that has served Randy's clients well. Born in Hawaii, and of Korean descent, Randy (aka "Pineapple") was raised in Boise, Idaho, and spent a number of years in New Mexico prior to settling in the Pacific Northwest. The inherent result of Randy's diverse personal background is the broad perspective he brings to his professional life.

Randy has been in the banking, insurance, and investment planning industries for thirty years. In the face of increasing trends toward standardization, he has applied his creative approach, and remains convinced that while we may all address similar concerns and issues in life—from buying a first home to education or estate planning to saving for retirement— the solutions themselves are as varied and unique as the individuals he represents.

Keenly aware that there are no absolutes, and therefore, are any number of ways to approach a given situation, Randy works to address his clients' needs by offering them their options. He does so first by listening; but it is in the asking that Randy more often finds his answers: who are you, what are your values and beliefs, where are you coming from, and where is it that you want to head?

These are the questions that give Randy's work meaning because work, for Randy, is an extension of what he believes in—and what he believes in are his clients. For Randy, the professional is personal, but don't let "Pineapple" fool you, he's also in it because it's fun!
